The following paragraphs are REQUIRED for your application to be considered. While the paragraph will not be graded, it MUST be included with the application. When you apply on-line, there will be spaces for these paragraphs. If you have already completed the on-line application, you may e-mail your paragraphs to jdhilbun@lpssonline.com.

Here are the instructions for the three required paragraphs. Use appropriate mechanics and suitable structure; include supporting details such as facts or examples. (See pages 96-104 in the Writer's, Inc. handbook or other similar textbook.) These paragraphs will be used to evaluate your written communication skills.

1. Write an expository paragraph consisting of five or six sentences describing your technology experience and/or classes that you might have taken which would contribute to your technology experience.
2. Write an expository paragraph consisting of five or six sentences summarizing your career goals in the technology field.
3. Write a persuasive paragraph consisting of five or six sentences listing the reasons that you feel you should be accepted into the Carencro High School Academy of Information Technology.
