Application taken on-line from mid February to April 15. Only current eighth graders may apply. Students must pass to the ninth grade to be eligible. If there are more applicants than slots, a lottery wil be held. AOIT students are required to take the college prep curriculum and maintain a 2.5 to remain in the program. All eighth graders in Lafayette Parish may apply, even those from outside the Carencro High School attendance zone. Bus transportation will be provided for all out-of-zone students.
