| The ULL and CHS students met in the parking lot of the old Sam's to caravan to Crowley for the Rice Festival. |

| Then we gathered our equipment together several blocks away from the Rice Festival site in Crowley before hiking to the action. |

| Some of us stayed near the main stage area for the Queen contest. |

| Others went to cover the fiddle and accordian contest. |

| Finally, we went to the roof of the Acadia Parish Courthouse to get shots of the Festival crowds. |
