Access (and other databases)
- I created a query that would combine information from two tables.
- I created queries to bring up certain information from the tables that would be inserted into a specific report.
- I created a database to hold data about the number of hours the employers worked on a certain project.
- I used Access to keep track of court records.
- I created forms from scratch that would input the data you inserted into the form directly into the database.
- I created reports for the different tables in the databases.
- I managed a data base system for multiple companies consisting of their domains and passwords.
- I created specs in Microsoft Office for the database I created, so that the user would have an idea about what the database would be used for.
- I created a switchboard (menu) so that the user wouldn’t have to go directly into the database to look for something.

Excel (spreadsheet)
- I used Excel to look up pricelists and stock.
- I used Excel to create a list of the NSF checks that we can’t receive at work.

- I used Excel to help track all of the technical equipment that the company owned.
- I used Excel to keep track of all the IP Addresses, serial numbers, passwords, and other important computer information.

3D Modeling and Animation
- I used Google SketchUp to build a 3D model of the LITE Center.

Flash Animation
- I’ve used Flash to make footers for a website.
- I’ve used Flash to make different animations for different web pages, for example, a red and white one with the Fleur-de-Lis for UL-Lafayette.
- I made many different Flash animations for the touch panel.
Computer Repair & Maintenance
- I set up a company computer.
- I fixed old broken down computers.
- I went off site to install home coders’ computers.
- I worked on Mac and Dell computers (two different OS systems).
- I helped move different computers around the building.
- I built computers to the specifications of customers.
- I replaced CRT monitors to LCD.
- I did small maintenance jobs so my mentor could focus on the bigger problems.
- I fixed and changed out various parts of computers, including hard drives and sound/video cards.
- I mapped network drives to workstations.
- I changed toner and print cartridges for the printers.
- I worked on laptops giving them a ram upgrade and also I used the program Ghost to transfer the data from the old hard drive to a new hard drive with more disk space.
- I helped fix the validators, which are the printers that the tellers use. I also helped to replace all of the old validators with the new ones.
Networking
- I set up new accounts on the network.
- We had about 50 computers on a proxy server and we disabled the proxy server, so I had to go into every computer and disable to proxy server settings.

Software Installation & Usage
- I installed anti-virus software.
- I installed operating systems like Windows XP and Vista on computers.
- I uninstalled some software because of problems it was causing.
- I installed ACT! and other various software for multiple companies.
- I used a CD of Windows XP to delete Windows Vista off of all the new computers, and we re-installed XP onto the computers.
- I used software to save the different department images into the bank server.
- I used software to pull the images from the server onto the new computers that were to be delivered throughout the different departments of the bank.

- I designed templates for videos.
- I operated the three video cameras during the Community Update shows that gave three different angles so viewers could see more than one person.
- I composed a video called “Community Update” which was aired on the AOC channel.
- I took still photos from Vermillionville, and other places that we went or activities we did.
- I created a video for an employee’s retirement party using Adobe Premiere.
- I videoed interviews with employees for retirement video.
- I videoed employee training sessions for later use.

- I organized and mailed client gift cards.
- I help organize the files for the public relations department.
- I scanned store items that needed to be ordered with a feline machine.
- I had to key in the meat order on the feline and type how many needed to be ordered.
- I helped with manager with cashing checks and making money orders for customers.
- I e-mailed problems to the most appropriate member at the Help Desk.
- I retrieved the shipment everyday from the CDW.
Meetings
- I participate in Virtual Reality meeting.
- I went to business meetings and staff meetings.
- I set up meeting appointments with businesses to video the Interns and Supervisors from the Academy of Information Technology .
- I sat in on board meeting and discussed ideas we had for making any shows or movies.
- I attended many research meetings.
Web & Graphic Design
- I helped to design a website.
- I added pictures to website.
- I input data on the company website to update it.
- I added links to different parts of the website and other websites
- I created a new page for the company website.
- I helped with design of HR website.
- I used their special program that they used for Website design to upload pictures, data files, and information.
- Putting content into websites was my main job at my internship. I would have to create a site map that the client would give us, input text into the site, and format the page; therefore, the page would look professional and appealing to the eye.
- I created a web design for Aires Marine, using Adobe Photoshop.
- I made a basic website template and then sliced the different buttons for links.
- I used Adobe Illustrator to create the logo for Dolphin Compactors. The logo was an abstract dolphin fin with a touch of gradient blue.
- I used Adobe Photoshop used to reduce pictures to their appropriate image size, compress their file size, make color adjustments, remove images from the pictures, etc.

- Created a new newsletter online with text and pictures.
- Researched online for information to input into newsletters.
- Updated a current monthly newsletter.
- I re-created LITE’s letterhead.
Touch Panel
- I worked on a web page that would be displayed on a touch screen that will be in the front lobby telling what is LITE about and also telling about all the different companies within the LITE building and how to get to them.
- I visited companies in LITE to obtain company information for the touch panel.
Miscellaneous
- I helped organize activities for an awards ceremony.
- I helped with tours of the LITE Center
- I burned disks to make multiple copies of the Academy and LITE video.
- I reserved the equipment used at AOC
- I shadowed many different positions in the corporation.
- I helped out with tours of the company.
- I used Remote Control Help Desk to assist the employees with the technical issues that they may have had. I was able to help people who were at other branches of the bank.
- I trained an employee on how to use Adobe Premiere and Windows Movie Maker
- I put together training Power Point presentations.
- I added e-mail addresses to an online mailing list.
- I assisted the owner with computer software such as Itunes and Photostory.
