- AOIT 2005 Picnic (pictures). AOIT students, parents, faculty, and incoming students/parents met for a picnic under the CHS Pavilion. Faculty and parents got to know each other, students played games, and current students gave a tour of the AOIT facilities. A great time was had by all.

- AOIT Presentation at the TechSouth 2005 IT Expo (April 19 - 20, 2005). AOIT Co-Directors, Kit Becnel and Joel Hilbun, were invited to be presenters at the Expo to explain the AOIT program. Their presentation was entitled "Educating the Digital WorkForce." AOIT was provided a booth in the Exhibit Hall, compliments of the Louisiana Department of Economic Development (Phil Lank, Regional Director) where AOIT students were able to educate visitors about the AOIT.

- The AOIT faculty has approved the AOIT Academic and Disciplinary Regulations, the AOIT Program Completion Regulations, and a complete, specific, four-year AOIT curriculum.
- This year, all LPSS Academies used a common academy application (based on last year's AOIT application). AOIT student Casey Bienvenu wrote the php code for this common application, so that the applications for all academies will be on-line like last year's AOIT application.
