In October 2005, former CHS Principal and current Superintendent of St. Mary Parish Schools, Dr. Don Aguillard, brought a team of educators -- Central Office personnel, school administrators, and teachers -- to visit the CHS Academy of Information Technology. St. Mary is considering the startup of several academies. The visitors toured the AOIT facilities and listened to presentations by Co-Directors, Kit Becnel and Joel Hilbun, and AOIT teachers, Kenny Gennuso, Anne Krauss, Ashlyn Roger, and Stacey Garbarino.
