Carencro High Students Compete in VFW's Voice of Democracy Essay Contest. Carencro High School AOIT civics and English II students recently wrapped up their entries for the VFW Voice of Democracy essay contest. This year's theme was "Freedom's Challenge." Winning essay finalists received passes to the Grande Theater. Finalists were Courtni Robicheaux, Lisa Barousse, Dylan Hollier, Alex Conde, Brandon Miller, Andre Sun Chee Fore and Sam Goulas.
